Here is the English translation of your text:
"We know that life is impossible without water, and many human activities, progress, and development undoubtedly depend on the existence of water. Among these, freshwater holds special importance in the lives of living beings, plants, animals, and especially humans. Historically, human populations have concentrated in areas where freshwater was readily available; even in places surrounded by oceans and seas, the significance of freshwater has been paramount. In fact, salty water has little benefit for human life without the presence of freshwater, unless a method to convert salty water into freshwater was found, which was not possible in ancient times. However, today, with advancements in science and knowledge, this has become feasible. Approximately 99% of the Earth's surface water is either very salty or, if it is freshwater, most of it exists as polar ice, which, for environmental reasons, is very detrimental to life on Earth and contributes to global warming. In other words, freshwater reserves make up just over 2% of the world's available water, with the portion accessible to humans being about 0.1% to 0.3%. Therefore, this article will examine various methods of desalinating salty water, along with their advantages and costs."
